WedVibes Features Bold Summer French’s Point Wedding

A summer French’s Point wedding built around color, coastline, and casual energy is the newest real wedding feature on WedVibes Media. Sarah and Graham built their celebration around an oceanfront estate in Stockton Springs, choosing the property specifically for its three houses and twenty-eight rooms so their closest family and friends could stay together for the entire weekend. The couple, who met on a dating app during the early days of the pandemic and got engaged on the same Central Park rooftop where they had their first date, wanted something that felt like a vacation, a summer camp, and a wedding all at once.

That instinct shaped every choice that followed. Nicole Mower Events led the planning and design, working with the couple’s preference for vibrant color over the traditional blue-and-white coastal palette. STONEBLOSSOM filled the reception with poppies, dahlias, hydrangeas, ranunculus, garden roses, and zinnias, all sourced in season from New England growers, while patterned linens from Theoni Collection and BBJ La Tavola gave the long tables their pattern and softness.

Within the reception tent, our team handled the lighting and draping, framing the space with scalloped draping lining the tent’s perimeter and custom pink drum shade pendants overhead. The pairing kept the room feeling elevated without losing the casual energy the couple wanted, carrying the tent from a sunlit afternoon into a warm, glowing evening as the celebration moved from dinner into dancing.

The day itself stayed rooted in personal touches the couple hid throughout the weekend, from stationery illustrated with native Maine animals to custom menus nodding to their shared love of fishing. A live band from East Coast Soul kept the dance floor full, and the night closed with a piano bar serving Hurricanes, a quiet callback to Sarah’s college years in New Orleans.
