Greenery and Mirrorball Magic: Barn Wedding Lighting At Flanagan Farm

Grace and Eric’s summer wedding at Flanagan Farm was a celebration deeply rooted in nature. Surrounded by 66 acres of woodland and pasture, the couple exchanged vows in the venue’s forested sanctuary—a ceremony space defined by its natural beauty. Shades of green carried through the bridal party, white florals softened the scene, and lush potted greenery lined the aisle, creating an atmosphere that felt grounded and timeless.

As guests moved from the open-air cocktail hour tent into the historic barn for the reception, the design shifted into something more playful and layered. Our barn wedding lighting design featured warm string lights woven through the exposed beam ceiling, enhancing the architecture while providing a soft, romantic glow. Glimmering mirrorballs were suspended overhead, catching the light and adding movement and dimension as the evening unfolded.

We also incorporated greenery throughout the space to complement the barn wedding lighting and tie the natural aesthetic of the day together. The long wooden dinner tables, flickering candlelight, and beautifully styled tabletops worked in harmony with the lighting design, creating a reception space that felt both organic and elevated.

As the night wore on, the mirrorballs shimmered, the barn wedding lighting glowed, and the barn pulsed with celebration. Grace and Eric’s Flanagan Farm wedding was a perfect example of how thoughtful lighting design can transform even the most natural setting into something truly magical.
