With sweeping views of the Atlantic as their backdrop, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by sculptural white floral pillars, with Emily carrying a chic all-white bouquet and her bridesmaids dressed in mocha satin gowns. Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to Portland, Maine, for a Brick South wedding reception that embraced texture, tone, and elevated design. Located at Thompson’s Point, Brick South is a venue known for its raw, industrial character, exposed beams, and polished concrete floors that provide the perfect canvas for thoughtful transformation.
Our team took the lead on lighting design and custom draping, curating a space that felt modern, romantic, and luxurious. The reception area was softened with beauitful draping that separated cocktail and lounge spaces from the dining area. Overhead, a mix of neutral-toned beaded and woven chandeliers added depth and drama, their eclectic silhouettes offering an artful contrast to the industrial bones of the venue.
Tabletops were adorned with creamy linens and modern place settings, while lush arrangements by Yellow Twist Design brought soft color and organic form to the center of each table. A stunning seating chart installation by Boston Backdrops guided guests to their places, where the atmosphere transitioned from golden hour into a warmly lit celebration. As the sun set, the ambient glow illuminated the room, turning this Brick South wedding into a luminous, unforgettable night.
