An unforgettable wedding at French’s Point comes to life with elegant wedding lighting and breathtaking design details. Planned by A Family Affair of Maine and beautifully captured by KeLi Photography, this August celebration was the epitome of timeless elegance.
The day began with a stunning outdoor ceremony in front of French’s Point’s iconic gazebo. With panoramic views of the sea as the backdrop, the couple exchanged vows amidst a classic setting of creamy white florals and lush greenery. The hydrangeas framing the gazebo complemented the serene green lawn, creating a perfect canvas for this romantic occasion.
The reception moved into the venue’s sailcloth tent, where our elegant wedding lighting took center stage. Crystal Empire Chandeliers hung gracefully overhead, their sparkling glow enhancing the timeless charm of the tent. To elevate the look further, we strung strands of greenery across the ceiling, softening the space and bringing in natural texture. The addition of tent draping brought an extra layer of sophistication, framing the interior in a way that felt both luxurious and inviting.
Inside, guests dined around tables adorned with glowing candlelight, white floral centerpieces, and soft blue accents that perfectly paired with the classic black-and-white checkered dance floor. Wood crossback chairs tied the design together, balancing elegance with a touch of warmth.
From the serene outdoor ceremony to the timelessly designed tented reception, every detail came together seamlessly to create an atmosphere of understated luxury. French’s Point proved once again why it’s one of Maine’s most enchanting wedding venues, and we were thrilled to bring our lighting, greenery installations, and draping expertise to this special day.
