Aggy and Andrew’s summer wedding at the Asticou Inn on the coast of Maine was a stunning blend of romance, elegance, and thoughtful design. Planned and designed by Landfall Designs and captured beautifully by Jacqui Cole Photography, their special day was filled with pastel tones, lush greenery, and florals that created a light, airy ambiance throughout the event. Aggy looked radiant in her strapless wedding gown, swept-back hair, and long veil, while Andrew opted for a timeless black suit and bow tie, complementing the sophisticated yet relaxed coastal vibe.
The day began with a heartfelt ceremony in the chapel at the Asticou Inn, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by their closest friends and family. After the ceremony, the newlyweds made their grand exit in a vintage Mercedes, cruising the scenic coast of Maine while capturing breathtaking photos along the way. Guests were treated to a cocktail hour outdoors, where the backdrop of ocean views and clear skies set the perfect tone for the celebration ahead.
The reception took place in a custom-built structure with a clear top and open sides, seamlessly blending with the inn’s surroundings thanks to Griffin & Griffin’s brilliant custom landscape design. Trees and greenery were thoughtfully integrated into the space, making it feel as if the reception was an extension of the natural landscape. A floral-framed entrance welcomed guests into the tent, where custom draping, greenery, and sparkling crystal sphere chandeliers created a breathtaking atmosphere.
Inside the reception, rectangular and round tables were dressed in ivory linens and paired with light wood chairs, setting the stage for vibrant pastel floral centerpieces to shine. White and blue patterned china, soft green linen napkins, and blue glassware enhanced the palette, drawing out the subtle hues of the floral arrangements. As the sun began to set, candlelight flickered across the room, and the chandeliers glowed warmly, transforming the tent into a magical, romantic space.
Guests danced the night away to live music, celebrating under the beautifully draped tent. As the evening came to a close, Aggy made a chic dress change, and the night ended with a spectacular fireworks display. Thanks to the custom landscape design, draping, and impeccable decor, Aggy and Andrew’s reception felt like a dream brought to life—an unforgettable blend of nature and elegance on the coast of Maine.
