Whimsically Romantic Vermont Wedding Lighting

A wedding is a celebration of love and unity, and the venue plays a crucial role in creating a magical ambiance for the special day. Surrounded by rolling green hills and tons of trees, the Farm at Williams River House was the perfect setting for Taylor and Spencer’s whimsically romantic wedding in Vermont. The couple embraced the beauty of the outdoor setting through elegant decor and a natural color palette. Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Vermont, the Farm at Williams River House provided an idyllic setting for a dreamy outdoor ceremony. The lush greenery and breathtaking views served as the perfect backdrop for the couple’s heartfelt vows. Clayton Floral designed a stunning ceremony arch decked out in greenery, white florals, and delicate draping. Guests were seated in dark wood chairs and the aisle was lined with lush greenery at the edge of each aisle. Taylor was Spencer were surrounded by loved ones and the beauty of nature as they said “I do” and became husband and wife.

After the enchanting ceremony, the celebration moved to a stunning tented reception. Here, our lighting design company aimed to create an atmosphere that would leave guests in awe. The newlyweds and their guests were welcomed into the tent through a draped entrance that was lined with potted trees and leafy greenery. What awaited inside the tent was elegant, and romantic, and continued to pay homage to the natural beauty surrounding the venue.  Wooden farm tables were topped with ivory florals and hints of gold decor elements.

To complement the neutral cream color palette of the reception design, our lighting design team incorporated brass lanterns above the reception tables. The soft glow emitted from the lanterns added a touch of warmth and elegance to the surroundings. The flickering candlelight, paired with the abundance of fresh florals and textured greenery, created a visually stunning display that exuded romance and sophistication. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the lanterns became even more captivating, illuminating the guests’ conversations and creating an intimate ambiance.

Over the dance floor, a cluster of mirror balls was suspended, casting a mesmerizing display of light and reflections that danced along with the music. The flickering illumination from the mirror balls created an intimate and romantic setting, encouraging guests to sway to the rhythm of love. The magical interplay of light and movement elevated the energy of the reception, making it a night to remember.
