We are so excited to share these gorgeous images of Sarah and Joseph’s colorful tented wedding that took place last August in Nobleboro, Maine. Our friends at Lani Toscano Design pulled together an all-star team of creatives to bring this wooded ceremony with lakeside views and gorgeous tented reception beneath sparkling lights and wicker baskets to life. Keep scrolling for details and stunning images captured by Natalya DeSena Photography!
One of the most beautiful parts of weddings that take place at a private residence is that the property is often chosen for its sentimental value. We absolutely love working at venues we are familiar with across Maine and surrounding states but there’s something special about helping to bring some magic to a space that’s already so special to the clients too. Sarah and Joseph’s gorgeous summer wedding would transform the private property into a celebration they will remember fondly for years to come!
The celebration began with a touching outdoor ceremony set amongst towering trees and lush greenery. Views of Damariscotta Lake framed the backdrop of the setting as the bride and groom became husband and wife. Lani Toscano Design crafted a floral focal point that was seemingly suspended above the couple which added a touch of whimsy and color to the occasion. Sarah’s veil featured embroidered green leaves and vines which seemed to pay tribute to the wonderous beauty that surrounded them.
After cocktail hour, the newlyweds and their guests headed into the colorful reception beneath a clear top tent by Wallace Events. The decor mixed colors and patterns in the most elegant of ways! Tabletops were cloaked in either ivory or blue and white patterned linens and the florals that sat atop them were in bright shades of fuchsia and orange. A cluster of our woven basket lighting was hung above the dance floor, inviting the newlyweds and their loved ones to dance beneath them all night long. As the sun began to set, the strands of light that framed the tent ceiling came to life and set the tent aglow!
This colorful tented wedding was a lively celebration for a lively couple who spent the evening on the dancefloor surrounded by so much love. What an honor it was to be part of this creative team and this day! Wishing the newlyweds lots of love and happiness.
