Shimmering Modern Romantic Maine Wedding

Anya and Elliott’s June wedding at The Barn at Flanagan Farm was a prime example of how a modern romantic Maine wedding can also be whimsical and full of shimmering disco balls.. a marriage of styles and details executed just perfectly by Lani Toscano Design and we were honored to have been part of the creative vision!

The day’s festivities began with Anya and Elliott exchanging vows outdoors, surrounded by the towering greenery of lush trees and their family and friends in tow. A white wooden arbor was adorned in leafy greenery and white and blush florals to perfectly frame the ceremony space. The couple chose to forgo a formal wedding party so all eyes were fixed on the couple as they said their “I do’s”. Sunlight leaked through the trees and created a magical ambiance as Anya and Elliott became husband and wife. Sperry Tents Seacoast provided a petite clear top tent for the cocktail hour under which comfy vignettes and the bar were situated. The celebration then moved to The Barn at Flanagan Farm‘s iconic barn for the reception where beautifully appointed tabletops awaited the newlyweds and their guests. Modern acrylic ghost chairs were paired with wooden farm tables and round tables draped in pewter-colored linens. Blush taper candles glowed from within glass cylinders and centerpieces comprised of blush and white florals added a soft elegance to the tablescape.

Above the reception, our team strung lights overhead, weaving through the wooden beams and chandeliers to create a sparkling sea of lights above the festivities. But the shining moment of the reception was the cluster of disco balls hanging above the space which would serve as the dance floor for the newlyweds and their guests. It was absolutely stunning day held in celebration of Anya and Elliott and we will remember the gorgeous day for years to come.
