Elegant Industrial Pepperell Mill Wedding

New Year’s Eve is always a cause for celebration, but even more so when it becomes your wedding anniversary that will be celebrated for years to come. Molly and Kath’s Pepperell Mill wedding on the eve of entering the new year was an epically beautiful way to end an unprecedented year in the even industry. As far as first looks go, the snowy waterfront backdrop where Molly and Kath first laid eyes on each other in their wedding dresses has to be one of the most beautiful first look scenes to date! We typically see lush, wooded backdrops which are one of the hallmarks of a wedding set in Maine, but there’s something about embracing the season in which this wedding took place that makes it so lovely and unforgettable.

Their ceremony and reception took place at Pepperell Mill Campus and embraced all of the industrial elements of the space while also adding warmth and elegance through leafy greenery, abundant florals, and a warm glow from both candles and our lighting installations.

For the ceremony, a bespoke lighting design framed the space where our couple would exchange vows. A seemingly floating installation of greenery and light bulbs hung just above the ceremony space and created an intimate moment for the vows to be exchanged and memories to be made. Another custom installation created a focal point above the bar and lights were strung throughout the reception space to give a romantic ambiance to the industrial space. Tabletops glowed from candlelight and created inviting spaces for guests to enjoy a fantastic dinner and listen to heartwarming toasts shared in honor of the newlyweds. A New Year’s Eve wedding would not be complete without a little glitz and glamour, so a cluster of disco balls over the dance floor got the dance party started at just the right moment of the evening!
