Glamorous Boho Wedding at Sunningdale Lodge

Earlier this summer, we had the pleasure of joining an incredibly talented team of event professionals to create a glamorous boho wedding at Sunningdale Lodge for Nicola and Nicholas. Neutral, earthy tones with pops of blush and tons of beautiful textures worked in harmony to produce an unforgettable day for our couple.

Sunningdale Lodge is located on the scenic shores of Sebago Lake and offers a unique and beautiful space for celebrating life’s most memorable moments. On-site lodging and options for indoor or outdoor events make Sunningdale Lodge an ideal destination for a magical Maine wedding and Nicola and Nicholas’ wedding day was as unforgettable as it gets!

After exchanging vows and officially becoming husband and wife, the newlyweds and their guests would celebrate beneath a gorgeous tent on the venue’s expansive outdoor space. Large floral displays with flowy pampas grass were a recurring theme seen throughout the design, from the seating chart display to the floral embellishments adorning The Roaming Speakeasy’s setup, and continuing on inside the tent. Pinch Me Planning made sure that every last detail was thoughtfully planned, designed, and executed and it shows through the spectacular imagery captured by Emily Delamater!

Inside the reception, the glamorous boho wedding theme was realized through luxuriously textured florals by Flora Fauna, and a perfectly balanced mix of tabletop decor. Blush goblets, gold flatware, and linen napkins tied in a knot adorned each place setting and flickering candlelight added a romantic touch. The head table was set on a long wooden table with a substantial lighting display above the tabletop. A row of our large woven basket lights was hung overhead at various heights with some baskets having beautiful fringe details and others without. The bespoke lighting installation tied in the neutral tones of the event design while adding a glamorous element above the wedding party as they dined and toasted to the newlyweds!

The final elements that mixed glam and boho design were the breathtaking combinations of crystal chandeliers and woven baskets suspended high above the dancefloor. What a stunning scene it was to see Nicola and Nicholas share their first dance beneath the glow of our chandeliers!
