Like most couples in 2020, Jamie and Ryan’s original plans for a large wedding were transformed and changed, but the end result was an intimate coastal wedding on the bride’s family’s property and it could not have turned out more beautifully! With Pinch Me Planning at the helm on planning and design and The Libbys Photo and Films there to capture every last detail, we knew it was going to be a stunner and one of the highlights of a year that was full of uncertainty and challenges. We are so proud of the finished product and the creative team we got to be part of and are honored to see Jamie and Ryan’s day featured earlier this summer on Wedding Chicks!
“Sometimes, smaller is better. Although their wedding didn’t turn out exactly as they originally planned, this couple wouldn’t have it any other way. Instead of their original large industrial venue, due to COVID-19, they ended up having their wedding in the bride’s family’s backyard. But this intimate wedding didn’t lack in formality. From the luxury tent with hanging boho chandeliers to the incredible floral installations, this was still very much a big wedding, even if the guest list itself wasn’t as big as it once was.” – Wedding Chicks
Jamie and Ryan’s day began with an intimate ceremony on the lawn and a floral arch covered in blush blooms, greenery, and pampas grass to frame the picture-perfect moment. After exchanging vows, the celebration moved to a formal sit-down reception beneath a clear-top tent where tons of our woven basket lights were suspended above the tabletops which were filled with colorful florals in spring/summer colors. The rest of the day was an open-house-style celebration where more guests were invited to visit, celebrate, and grab bites to eat from a handful of Maine’s finest food trucks!
Tons more details and words from the lovely bride herself at the full feature, so head to Wedding Chicks for all the details of Jamie and Ryan’s intimate coastal wedding, HERE!
