Ali and Adam’s wedding took place earlier this summer and it was intimate and romantic in every way and we are excited to see their day featured on Seacoast Weddings! Like so many other couples, Ali and Adam’s original wedding plans were thrown off course by COVID-19, but what began as a setback resulted in something absolutely spectacular.
After their original wedding venue canceled due to a double booking, and other unforeseen complications due to the pandemic, Ali and Adam set their sites on a private location on the border of Maine and New Hampshire for their nuptials. Their wedding day actually ended up being the same date as the one they’d originally planned for, bringing the day full circle.
After saying “I do” in an intimate ceremony facing the water, the celebration began in an al fresco reception set beneath the open sky and romantic lights strung overhead. The newlyweds and their closest family and friends dined together at a long wooden farm table paired with elegant crossback chairs. The tabletop was filled with lovely floral centerpieces and taper candles in a soft grey hue. Ali and Adam danced together as husband and wife for the first time and loved ones gave touching toasts to the couple as the sun set overhead and the candlelight began to glow.
“On August 22, after 13 “negative” rapid COVID-19 tests, 11 people including immediate family and 4 close friends, attended a beautiful ceremony complete with a 50 ft ethernet cable, a large monitor, loving and heart-felt vows, and a radiant couple.” – Seacoast Weddings
